Cultivating lifelong learning and collaboration abilities for Greek secondary school students

We are a   group of insatiate learners: students and teachers ,our only profit is the experience we gain as members  of a social network devoted to perpetual learning, the “Perpetual Learning Network” («Ατέρμονος Μάθηση»in greek)

USING Blackboard/Collaborate platform WHAT FOR?

For the Greek students in order to:

  • cultivate and inspiring them  in using web for self improvement .
  • facilitate them to improve the proper skills for lifelong learning using collaboration and self motivated investigation of ideas and information
  • persuade them that teleconferencing via this platform can be effective and efficient for instructional goals of any difficulty

HOW

  • Giving e-lessons for free. These lessons should be properly constructed and prepared, using as many platform’s possibilities as we learn or get to know.
  • Setting a time schedule of  free use of this virtual room/class for high school teachers that are members of  our group ,in order organize ,guide  and implement  project based lesson plans

thank you. They might like it if they were used to build their own learning paths this way. We made the above link public and we think that it is a matter of time.

This sounds great!  I wonder if your students might not like the Student 2.0 network, where they can build their own personal learning network with other students?
