We are just about to launch the E-portfolio Massive Open Online Course and we appreciate having a temporary Bb C room available for our webinars through the Australia e-Series.
My idea would be to provide a year's subscription for groups who are moving into the MOOC domain - to give them a place to communicate in real time.
It seems that mooc's are very popular and will probably ramp up even more in 2012. I am sure they would appreciate the use of a 50 seat room for webinars associated with their mooc's.
If you believe this is a worthy cause, we would wish to take up the new room for the EpCoP MOOC to start the ball rolling and provide promotions as of August 1 - we have a series of webinars coming up all manned by volunteeers and that would give them a separate place in which they could all be moderators.
The room could then be used by many other mooc's or teams providing free courses online.
