Rusty May is Co-Founder and Co-President of Future Focus Academy. May is an expert in the field of K-12 education, having worked as a counselor and educator in every grade through community college since 2002. In that time, May has made over 3,000 classroom, staff and school wide presentations to students, teachers and adults learners. May is also the founder and president of (, a daily webcast focusing on social skills and student achievement that is currently watched by thousands of students around the US and in other countries.

May has been an executive/educational coach since 1998 and has worked with hundreds of students and adults in the areas of motivation, focus, personal responsibility, anger management, positive thinking, self awareness, study skills and career exploration. May has also developed one-on-one and team training programs to help teachers develop more effective educational relationships in the classroom.

May holds a Master in counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services credential from the University of La Verne and a Bachelor Degree in General Studies from the University of Maryland. In his spare time, May enjoys coaching Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball for 6th and 7th graders and works as a Life Strategies Coach for children and adults.
